Pump IssuesUpdated a month ago
Diagnosing pump issues:
Pump sounds as if it's but not pumping air:
1. Check the cords and ensure that there are no restrictions (Kinks, pinches, compressed under furniture..etc). Correct any obstructions and check to ensure the airflow is restored.
2. If there are no obstructions the customer's pump needs to be repaired/replaced
Pump has no power:
Signs that the pump has no power include no display on both controllers, air system not inflating and a customer being unable to turn the system on. Follow these instructions to troubleshoot:
1. Make sure the pump is plugged into a surge protector.
2. Make sure the surge protector is on.
3. Ask if the electrical outlet the power is plugged into is on a light switch. If it is, make sure the light switch is on.
4. If you have addressed all of the above options, you will need to have the customer check the fuse. To check the fuse:
- Have the customer unplug the power cord from the back of the air pump.
- They will need to take a butter knife of similar item and pry off the black power inlet.
- The fuse will be in the cavity created by removing the inlet. If the fuse is either black with soot or making a clinking noise, the fuse should be replaced.
The fuse the customer would need to purchase:
